Maternally Yours carries apparel from several manufacturers.
Each manufacturer follows different sizing structures. Items that do not fit
properly can be returned to Maternally Yours, however we cannot guarantee availability
of replacement sizes. It is important to use the following guidelines in choosing
the right size:
Bust: The bust measurement is taken by measuring
around the garment at armpit level. This measurement is taken without stretching
the fabric and should closely match your bra size.
Hip: The hip measurement is taken around
crotch level of the item. If the item is a skirt or dress, crotch level
of the item is estimated (typically 8" below the waist).
Waist: The waist of any item is determined
by measuring around the waistband before stretching and after stretching.
For example, if the waistband
without stretching measures 26", and the waistband measures 36" when stretched,
the waist measurement will state 26"-36" waistband.
Inseam: The inseam of pants or
shorts are determined by measuring from the center of the crotch to the inside
bottom hem.
Length: Skirts length is determined by measuring from waistband
to bottom hem. Dress lengths are measured from shoulder to bottom hem.
